🌸 June 2025 BIPOC Birth Support Skills Workshop Recap

In June 2025, we gathered in Anchorage for a powerful weekend of learning, connection, and community care. Our BIPOC Birth Support Skills Workshop brought together an incredible group of future doulas—parents, healers, artists, and advocates—each with a deep commitment to supporting birth in their families and communities.

Over two days, we practiced hands-on comfort measures, explored the role of a doula, reflected on birth justice, and shared stories in a space rooted in cultural humility, joy, and belonging. Babies were held, tears were honored, and laughter echoed through the room.

These photos capture just a few glimpses of the care and courage shared that weekend. Thank you to everyone who showed up so fully—we’re grateful to walk this path with you.
