Birth Support Skills Training – Open to All Alaskans

📅 July 26–27, 2025

📍 Anchorage, Alaska

10:00 AM – 5:00 PM each day

Join us for a two-day, hands-on workshop designed for aspiring doulas, family supporters, and anyone passionate about birth and postpartum care. This in-person training is part of the Full Embrace Doula Training program and is open to participants across Alaska. You do not need to be a birthworker to attend—just someone who cares deeply about showing up for others.

You’ll learn:

  • Prenatal, birth, and postpartum doula support skills

  • Tools for comfort, advocacy, and presence during labor

  • Scope of practice, boundaries, and navigating medical systems

  • Culturally responsive and trauma-informed care

  • How to show up for your community in powerful and practical ways

✨ Breastfed babies are welcome in the space. We’ll provide breaks, snacks, and a respectful environment to meet the needs of caregivers.

This workshop is part of a larger certification program, but it’s also a powerful learning experience on its own. Come to build skills, connect with others, and grow in your confidence and calling as a birth support person.

Space is limited. Apply today to reserve your spot.
